Description
Guhawari Cave is located 13 km east of Hetauda Bazaar and is accessible by bus. It is recognized not merely as a cave, but as a tunnel or shelter used by Sen-era kings as an escape route and a place to hide weapons during emergencies. Its structural appearance suggests it was built using lime and surki (lime mortar). During the rainy season, visitors can witness beautiful waterfalls, and the site includes sheds for picnics as well as statues of various deities. Located in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City Ward No. 18, the site has not yet been excavated, meaning its historical facts remain to be discovered.
